Final Exam speaking review

Transportation writing review


1. First you take Bus #63, for 5 stops, get off at Ping2guo3yuan2, then change to subway blue line, ride 10 stops towards the west and get off at Xi1zhi2men2. Finally, you walk towards the west, pass 3 traffic lights and the bank is on your left.


2. You should ride subway yellow line towards xi1zhi2men2, for 1 stop, get off at Shang1dong1lu4, then take bus #355 for approximately 6 stops, get off at jie3fang4lu4. Finally, walk towards the northeast for 3 minutes, pass 4 intersections and the restaurant is on your right.

3. First, You should ride subway purple line towards Bei3hai3, ride for 4 stop. Next, change to red line towards the zoo, ride for 7 stops, get off at Zuo3gong1ji1lu4. Finally, walk north for about 3 minutes and you have arrived at the science museum. It is left of the bank.

4. First, you take Bus #402 for 12 stops, get off at Zhong1shan1lu4, then change to subway orange line towards the south, ride 5 stops and get off at Dong1zhi2men2. Finally, walk east for about 5 minutes and you have arrived at Zhong1shan1 Park.

My City Listening and Reading review Answers

Listening:

4. Eat lunch at fast food restaurant, not eat healthy foods (no fruits and veges), sitting on the sofa and eat peanut butter ice cream while watching TV.

7. Stay in the hospital for a few days, might need surgery.

9. Twice a day, three pills each time, for one year.

Reading:
My mother is a university professor, she teacher languages and music. Wednesday afternoon mom also works part-time at an elementary school. She teacher first grade and second grade English. Mom's personality is quiet, she likes to write and do craft. When the weather is good, mom also likes to go shopping at the supermarket or go to the store to buy shoes. Mom likes spicy foods. She often takes me and little sister to eat at Indian restaurants.

My little sister is in middle school, she's in the 8th grade. Little sister is smart and mature, she also really likes to study. On weekends she often to go the library to read books. Sometimes little sister will also go to the movie theater or visit the art museum. She likes to buy books, but she doesn't have money so she really wants to work part time at the book store. However, mom and dad says she's too young ("小" here means "young") and won't let her work.

I am 15 years old, 10th grade. My school is located north west of the city. the environment is rather beautiful, but the transportation around school is not too convenient. There is no school bus. I don't have a car, I ride my good friend Macy's car to school every morning. Macy and I are friends since elementary school. This year she's also in 10th grade. We both take Latin and German. Macy is extremely gentle, cute and understanding, but she doesn't have a boyfriend. I say: "Macy, if you hang around me every day, other boys will not ask you out on a date." Macy was extremely mad when she heard this. Why is she so mad?!?!

When I was thirteen I did not pass my math test because I didn't understand what the teacher taught. I was very scared because mother is scary.
